About Us
Rubys Foundation is a christian charitable organisation offering high quality support to all women irrespective of race or ethnic background. Its mission is to empower, encourage, support and assist women to develop values and skills that will enable them to integrate and enjoy being a part of the mainstream life of the community.
We deliver a range of support which provides a safety net for women to increase confidence, improve on basic life skills, tackle old and new challenges and provide the opportunity to get involve in the life of the community thus helping them and their families to break cycles of exclusion and poverty. We encourage team spirit, team work and an element of competition where women are able to develop skills in communication, negotiation and capabilities.
The Charity Shop, The Learning Centre and The Fellowship are our core work.
At the charity shop, we stock a wide range of unused and re-useable essential household items for sale at very low prices to all members of the community. At the learning centre we offer life skills hands on classes to combat exclusion, loneliness and depression thus increasing the balanced state of mental health experienced by women. At the fellowship we offer guidance and signposting support service and prayer in a relaxed atmosphere to experience the love of God, the Agape love.

Charity Shop
We stock varieties of unused & re-useable household items at our beautifully presented shop. You are sure of good quality products and excellent bargain when you drop in. |
Signposting
We signpost users and drop ins to local services, other charities of help relevant to their immediate needs, get them help with form filling, and with reading letters. |
Guidance
We offer guidance from the holistic point, counselling care and one to one advice depending on circumstance to improve mental health and well being. |
Fellowship
We do Fellowship and one to one prayer support. We encourage and support one another according to the word God for everyday life in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. |
Skills Learning

Work Experience
This provides for young women to gain work experience, assist them gain useful skills to move unto paid work, meet other people and make new friends. |
Sewing Skills Learning
This provides hands-on training to stitch loose ends attach buttons with simple hand and machine sewing, measure, cut and sew simple designs. You sew your own designs. |
Braiding Skills learning
This provides hands-on training to braid different hair types, cornrow different styles, add extensions to hair and create your own hair designs. |
Computer Skills Learning
This provides hands-on training to turn on and use a basic computer, use word and excel spreadsheet and use basic internet services. |
